SUMMER SHOW 2018
St Nicholas School Fair performance
23rd June @1pm
  1. My child can only make one of the performances is that OK?
Ideally, as the children have set lines to say and places in dances, the children need to do both shows - however if they really cannot then obviously we don't want them to miss out on the opportunity of being in the show so one performance is fine but you must let Jess know ASAP.
  2. Do the children stay at the Theatre in between the two shows?
NO. After the 2pm performance has finished (approx 3.30pm) your child must be collected from The Riverside Arts Centre, taken home for some dinner and a freshen up and then bought back to the theatre by 6.30pm for the 7pm performance.
  3. Do parents need to stay?
NO. I will have STARS chaperones back stage and in all the dressing rooms to look after the children whilst they are on site at the theatre.
  1. What is happening on 23rd June?
At 1pm at the St Nicholas School, Shepperton, Summer Fair ALL STARS STUDENTS will be doing a 15 minute dance piece in the small sectioned off grass arena in the middle of the fair. It is a 'mash up' of lots of different dances. Mini Stars ARE included too. The performance will be finished by 1.15pm.
  2. Where do we need to meet and at what time?
Please meet at 12.50pm by the side of the arena. It is not a very big area so you will not miss a large group of STARS children all gathering together! Jess will be there!
  3. Do the parents stay?
YES PLEASE. It is a lovely opportunity for you to watch your children performing and having fun and it only lasts 15 minutes. Please find a space around the edge of the arena to watch. At the end Jess will dismiss the children one at a time from the arena to the parents so please make it obvious where you are!!!
  1. What do the children need to wear for the Summer Show?
STARS T-Shirts and BLACK leggings/trousers and black trainers/ jazz shoes/ plimsolls. If your child does not have a STARS T-Shirt please email [email protected] or call Jess 07772924399 to order one BEFORE 23RD JUNE.
  2. What time will the performances end?
At present (15th June) the exact timings have not been worked out, however we estimate it to be no more than 2 hours. Once the timings are set we will update this page. So - the 2pm show should be finished by 4pm latest and the 7pm show by 9pm latest.
  3. Do I need to buy a ticket for my small child?
If you are happy for your child to sit on a lap or sit at the front of the audience on the floor (you can bring a cushion) then you do not need to purchase a ticket for your child. BUT please let Jess know when you are booking tickets that you will have one on a lap/the floor.
  1. Are normal SATURDAY class on on Saturday 23rd June?
YES. All classes are on as normal. Musical Theatre group 2 (11-12.30pm) can walk down to the fair straight from class if you would like them to. They will have a STARS chaperone with them.
  2. Are the Mini Stars included in the School fair performance?
100%!!!! ALL Stars are included!!! (Apart from Drama only Stars students)
  3. What do the children need to wear for the school fair performance?
STARS T SHIRTS PLEASE! (and whatever else they fancie!)
